Chef Joe Flamm
Growing up in a large Italian family, Joe Flamm fell in love with cooking while spending time making homemade pasta with his Grandma Mary. He formalized his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago and went on to sharpen his skills in some of Chicago's finest kitchens, including Art Smith's Table 52, Stephanie Izard's Girl and the Goat, and Bill Kim's Belly Q. Most recently, Flamm worked with the inimitable Tony Mantuano at Michelin-starred Spiaggia and Café Spiaggia to perfect the art of Italian fine dining. He has cooked for presidents, celebrities, and the James Beard Foundation, and won Bravo TV’s coveted title of Top Chef in 2018. Now looking to strike out on his own, Flamm has partnered with Sancerre Hospitality to open Rose Mary, an Italian-Croatian restaurant located in Chicago’s rapidly growing Fulton Market District.
